Factory Farming…
Factory farming definition is a method of breeding and raising farmed animals for food with the goal of maximizing production and minimizing costs. Factory farms were created with the idea that the ‘factory’ concept could be applied to animal farming. Thus the consideration of the welfare and treatment of animals is voided and no longer looked upon as sentient, living beings but as commodities. The animals that are bred and raised in these horrid situations are confined in crates, cages, barns, stalls that are often packed to capacity not allowing the animals to live a naturally. Most spend their lives inside buildings never to feel the sunlight or breathe fresh air.
